Looking Back: Some of my
favorite sessions from 2024
As I sit here reflecting on 2024, I can’t help but feel an overwhelming sense of gratitude. Last year was filled with beautiful connections, heartfelt stories, and the most incredible people who trusted me to document their lives. Every session reminded me of why I picked up my first camera: to preserve the fleeting moments that mean everything.
This year was a whirlwind in the best way possible. From golden sunsets to cozy, rainy days, each session had its own unique magic. Some moments were filled with laughter that echoed through the air, while others were quiet and tender, the kind that made me stop and breathe it all in. These are the moments that stick with me long after the photos are taken.
Personal Favorites and Lessons
Learned
This year, I was reminded time and time again of the beauty in raw emotion and the magic of simplicity. The way a father held his daughter’s hand as she took her first steps, the way a mom’s eyes filled with tears watching her child laugh, or the quiet moments of a senior staring off into the horizon with dreams bigger than the sky—these are the moments that make my heart swell.
2024 also taught me to slow down. Life moves fast, and often, the most meaningful photos come from those in-between moments—a stolen glance, a genuine laugh, or a fleeting hug. This year reaffirmed my belief that photography isn’t just about pretty pictures; it’s about preserving emotions and stories that will last for generations.
